The Riverford Field Kitchen opened in 2005 and being the first of its kind in the country, was inspired by a trip Guy Watson made to Alice Water’s restaurant in San Francisco, where fresh, organic, seasonal produce is the starting point for any meal.

Dishes are all hand prepared using masses of organic ingredient. 60% of our purchases are organic. The drinks list is fully organic including wines, beers, coffees, teas and juices.

All ingredients are carefully selected, largely from local sources, including the Estate’s own organic market garden. The menu includes a number of imaginative vegetarian dishes.
