Lea Phillips makes a wide range of colourful individually hand decorated, wheel thrown ceramics, at her studio in Totnes, Devon.

My sculptures reflect a 25 year fascination with our earliest pre-history combined with a love of the sea and marine creatures, Archaic Greek stone sculpture, the marking, corrosion and weathering of artefacts over time, and an appreciation of the fuller female form.

The Riverford Field Kitchen opened in 2005 and being the first of its kind in the country, was inspired by a trip Guy Watson made to Alice Water’s restaurant in San Francisco, where fresh, organic, seasonal produce is the starting point for any meal.
